RIFFTEK, Inc. is a New Company Dedicated to Making Better Musicians Faster.

RiffBANDZ and RiffGRIPS are two new innovative products that will be available to the public August 23, 2011.

ABOUT RIFFTEK

Rifftek, Inc. is a corporation dedicated to helping musicians develop the required physical strength and dexterity required to play an instrument, but within a much shorter amount of time than traditional methods have provided in the past.

The Research and Development Team at Rifftek, Inc. is comprised of multiple musicians that have implemented techniques and developed devices that have enhanced their own ability to play. The products and techniques have been strategically combined to create cutting edge programs that are now available to the general public.

While the principles and concepts offered by Rifftek, Inc. can benefit any musician, there is a focus on string instrument players, and even more specifically on guitar players. Playing the guitar requires a significant amount of physical dexterity, as well as some music theory knowledge. It is not necessary to know how to read music to play the guitar at any level, however, development of physical ability and dexterity is completely required. The concepts taught by Rifftek, Inc. are designed to rapidly teach and build the required physical strength and dexterity to play an instrument.

ABOUT RIFFBANDZ

The RiffBANDZ resistance device is a custom developed, specially designed, resistance band, intended to be worn by a musical instrument player while playing their instrument. This is a conditioning device that builds hand strength and dexterity, at a significantly faster rate than offered through traditional scale training exercises. The band is worn and utilized while practicing scale exercises, but the custom developed exercises offered with the RiffBANDZ program, are also designed to promote hand strength, dexterity, and agility, at rates not previously possible to achieve without utilizing resistance training. Not only does the resistance band assist with building strength and dexterity, but it also helps train the hand to the proper formation on the instrument, for a precision performance. This device is also proven to work well for piano and horn players.

ABOUT RIFFGRIP

The RiffGRIP was designed to convert any manufactured guitar pick into a slip resistant guitar pick. The RiffGRIPS are simply leather stickers, shaped to the corporate ?Fist? logo, and embossed to create a surface that will prevent the pick from falling or slipping out of a guitar player?s hand. This device also makes the pick more comfortable to hold and play.

Future Middlebury College Dormitory with AppliedSensor iAQ-Engine Provides Real-Time Indoor Air Quality Data

Warren, New Jersey (PRWEB) January 04, 2012

AppliedSensor, a designer and manufacturer of chemical sensor components, announced today that its iAQ-engine intelligent Indoor Air Quality Module is installed in Middlebury College?s Self-Reliance solar-powered house to provide real-time indoor air quality data to future student residents. After placing fourth in the 2011 U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Solar Decathlon Competition held in Washington, D.C. in October, the energy-efficient house was transported back to Middlebury College in Vermont, where it will serve as a student dorm.

?We incorporated AppliedSensor?s IAQ-engine in Self-Reliance as we feel it is a great product. This project demonstrates how indoor air quality can be monitored and superior IAQ achieved in a virtually airtight, super-insulated home,? said Peter Schneider, an energy consultant with Efficiency Vermont.

The iAQ-engine?s sensor, located in the main living space of the Self-Reliance dormitory, will track indoor air quality every minute. Collected data will be displayed online and on a dashboard in the dorm?s kitchen. This will enable student residents to monitor the quality of their indoor air in real time and adjust the ventilation system as needed. Full indoor air quality data will be available from Efficiency Vermont later this year.

?Conserving energy and providing high-quality indoor air is essential. We commend Efficiency Vermont and Middlebury College for their dedication to this innovative project,? said AppliedSensor, Inc. CEO Tom Aiken. ?In the coming year, AppliedSensor will continue to work with organizations dedicated to reducing utility costs and providing healthier air for occupants of residential and commercial buildings.?

New Website Provides Products Exclusively for Nickel Allergy Sufferers

Santa Clarita, CA (PRWEB) December 20, 2010

Nickel allergy is one of the most common contact allergies affecting an estimated 15% of the population. That means there are nearly forty five million (45,000,000) nickel allergy sufferers in the U.S. alone. For people with nickel allergy any contact with items containing nickel will cause a rash, a rash comparable to that caused by poison ivy. For these people life is a constant struggle to avoid nickel.

A new website is dedicated to easing that struggle by providing solutions for nickel allergy sufferers. At NickelFreeLife.com users can find sources for many daily use items that are nickel free. From earrings, bracelets, rings and watches to belt buckles and cooking utensils.

The site is also loaded with information about nickel allergy. A user can learn about nickel allergy, living nickel free and even how to follow a nickel free diet (nickel is naturally abundant in many foods and ingested nickel is thought to cause many chronic symptoms for nickel allergy sufferers).

"The U.S. is far behind Europe in its nickel allergy standards," commented development manager Eric Larsen. "The reason the U.S. is behind has to do with cost, it is simply cheaper to make products with nickel in them than to source nickel free. Case in fact, nickel use has been banned in jewelry production for nearly 15 years in Europe, yet the U.S. has no meaningful nickel use legislation."

Nickel allergy sufferers can now learn about nickel allergy, shop for nickel free items and share information at http://www.NickelFreeLife.com .

In addition to general shopping and information at the main site, separate niche product websites will be forthcoming, the first of which launched recently, NickelFreeBelts.com. "Our goal is to source as many common items as possible," Eric Larsen noted. "In the event we cannot find a product nickel free, we aim to manufacture it ourselves. For instance, we had trouble finding nickel free belts so we made a sizable effort finding a nickel free steel. We use this custom steel in the manufacture of all our nickel free belt buckles." The first of these niche websites can be found at http://www.NickelFreeBelts.com .
